Month of Thanks!

We are half way through November and I just realized Thanksgiving is this month...  (wake up Tiff)
SO since I have no serious projects going on due to us moving and my WHOLE life being being packed away in boxes.......  Seriously Murphy almost didn't get out of this box in time..

ANYWAYS..... So in honor of Thanksgiving I want to post a few things that I am SO thankful to have in my life. People seem to let the "little" things in life pass them buy and never realize just what they have under their noses. I try my best to acknowledge everything I have and know that I am SO lucky, because life could always always be worse. I am not perfect, neither is my life, but I certainly wouldn't trade it for anything!

1) So Thankful for my AMAZING Nikon D60 and my somewhat decent photography skills. I love being able to catch those perfect unscripted moments in life, and love being able to give people memories they will forever cherish :-)  Much like this.....

2) Thankful for great photographers such as Ginger Dupre who shot our wedding....she is AMAZING!

3)Thankful for sweet itty bitty babies, and being able to be an "auntie" and spoil him rotten...

4) Thankful that little itty bitty baby has such good parents that we call our best friends...

5) Thankful for wonderful parents and grandparents.... that kinda love one another :-)

6) Thankful for a very talented Hubby who goes to any lengths to make me happy.... even if it means defacing a historical monument fence post by carving our initials on it :-)

7) Actually having FAR to many things to post here that I am thankful for! I could seriously keep going...and keep going...and going..and going...... That in it's self makes me smile :-)

Lust List::

It's that time of year again! You know when you make a list of all the things you really really want and hope that a big man in a red suit (who may or may not be a figment of your imagination) will bring it all to you on christmas morning perfectly wrapped with coordinating paper and bows!

BUT lets me practical... now a day's your lucky to get a knock off of the thing you really wanted and it's going to be stuffed in a bag with 2 sheets of tissue paper....... reality is just a joy kill isn't it?!

Well that doesn't stop me from compiling a list of things I like and would wish to have someday! I sometimes shove this list inside of Charles wallet, tape it to his bathroom mirror or pack it in his lunch box, he rarely buys things off the list but he assures me I have great taste :-)

(1) I AM NOT PREGNANT......lets repeat...NOT PREGNANT... but I love to dream about how I would decorate my little girls nursery. Yes God is giving me a baby girl first, it's only fitting :-). Anyways, this crib is just AH-mazing.... Cant you just see a little gal with a huge bow on her head peaking out at you from inside???? I'm LOVING the chandelier also...and not just for a baby room...I may be installing one in my bedroom...and living room..and bath room and dining room and so on.

(2) Now this is something that I just think is so unique and playful, I just love it. Of course this would only work in a home where NO men lived, a home with no children and even though this is a shower curtain I cant say I would even want it coming anywhere near water..... I should have my own apartment just to decorate... really I should.

(3) Now this bedding is a set I registered for on our wedding registry at bed bath and beyond and someone lovingly bought it!!! I have the euro shams, and decorative pillows to match and I'm just SO excited to pull our room together! Isnt it amazing! I LOVE all of the ivory!

I think I may scotch-guard the whole room and put charles in a government approved anthrax suit much like the one below to ensure it stays clean and pristine... Maybe we wont even use our bed anymore... we'll just look at it....I'm still deciding.

As a true southern woman I LOVE LOVE LOVE a monogram. Seriously, monogram my bedding, my purses , my jewelry  even a sticker for the back of my car, I just cant get enough. I would LOVE to do something like this is a family room or our bedroom.

Hello Beautiful... come to Mama......
Imagine the amazing things I could do with this beauty... cakes... pies... making DIVINITY without breaking my wrist...Ohhhh the possibilities!

And lets all take a moment of silence and revel in the beauty that is THIS kitchen.....

Yes...It's magical...It's perfect....it's Totally ME. And look! Another chandelier....they are taking over! Go ahead and add "kitchen" to the list of rooms in which I will be installing a chandelier :-)  I think a kitchen like this would make me a better person...a better woman...a better cook! I would be a warrior for fine cuisine....I would learn how to make french pastries...I would live here...I would....I would.... probably be really fat.

As you see I have champagne taste on a beer budget... .. I might buy beer, but I pour it into a champagne bottle when no one is looking and fool you all! I have a way of making a "budget" look good... I'll fill you all in on that with some of my projects later on!

Until then.... here's to big dreams with shallow pockets :-)

Blame it on the Insomnia.....

It's 1:10 am... chucks next to me snoring (mouth open) and I'm wide awake.. the 10 o'clock cup of coffee was probably not the greatest idea, but the new Mocha Marshmallow creamer in the fridge was practically screaming my name!

It's now 1:19 am... I sat here looking at the screen for a full 9 minutes trying to think of something to type..... but it just ain't happenin', SO instead I'll just post pictures that make me smile and share why they do..........

Everyone in my family now has a special kind of hate for me because I'm always behind the camera at the best/worst times which results in lots of retarded/sweet pictures of everyone... I hate pictures where everyone poses with a fake smile.. I like REALITY people!! So here are some of everyone at their worst, their best, and most awkward moments..... do enjoy :-)

This is my little brother Jake being attacked my 100's of minnows in mom and dads pond......

Jakes solution to the over abundance of minnows in his swimmin' hole...........................Pool net.

Im the photographer ok? Instead of letting me "capture" a sweet moment, My mom decides to "make" one. End result.... this crazy photo of Mama and Nana looking like conjoined twins. My Nana's facial expressions looks like she's thinking "Lord this is gonna look stupid".... Right on Nana....Right on!

This one will probably make me laugh until I'm to old to know what's funny and what isn't. This was my shower cake which came from Sam's off of Dunn Avenue. Note instead of wishing me HAPPINESS they wished me "much" HAPPINESS .....GOD I Love the North side!

My mom and dad spent an incredible amount of money on food for my wedding, sadly I believe I only had one bite of a meatball and a nibble of a chicken cordon bleu' bite that night..I had no time to eat! Im sorry mama and daddy for what I'm about to say, but out of all those tasty horderves you paid for...none of them held a candle to the Arbys my new husband and I got on our honeymoon night and ate in the hotel...

We all knew they where close.... we just didn't know how close until we pulled out the red solo cups and started drinking the hard stuff...

Then there are nights like tonight when my two (not so) baby brothers show up in my room and pile up on the bed and we have a few laughs about Jarred playing or "attempting to play" the harmonica and Jakes dream of becoming a male model.

And thats all I have for now... I do believe the Advil PM is kicking in and Chuck will need to be up in 3 hours, maybe I will be a good wife and make him breakfast.... maybe :-)

And so it begins....

Welcome to my life... Things around here have changed very quickly... A big sparkly ring on my finger...A new last name... A guy who follows me around saying he's my "husband"... and a new blog!

Lets break this down in pictures.....
This is me... I rock the color white and I look fabulous in big puffy gowns...

I married this fellow on October 23rd 2010... He's hot, can also rock the color white and is my right hand man.

We now have matching rings, the same last name and we've carved our initials on a fence post, there's no going back now... those initials will be there forever! :-)

We live in the hustlin' town of Callahan, Florida where the tallest building in town is the water tower, and the biggest store is the Winn-Dixie.
I love this little town and everything that comes with the small town life including Christmas parades, friday night football games, the FAR to long line at the chicken house and even the drama!

Im SO very excited to start this blog and to share a little bit of my life and what it's all about! Hope you all enjoy my ramblings :-)
